Happy weekend Ember-Kissed Dreamers!! For tonight's Saturday Night Special, I present - Tell Me by Anthony Montel. To begin with, there isn't much I can find on him or this song. The only thing I could dig up is that it's a single by the R&B artist AnthonyMontel, released on January 31, 2023. What I do know is the intro and song samples one of my favorite tunes - "Twisted" by Keith Sweat featuring R&B girl group Kut Klose. And that was enough to lure me in when I first heard it. Also, while the lyrics are difficult to make out due to the echo effect used on the song, it sounds like a break up song to me. All that aside, I do love the music itself. It has a nice groove built on an almost mysterious haunting vibe. Certainly a perfect mood song if your or facing the honest reality that it might be time to move on from a relationship that's being held together by a thread. Sometimes it's better to come up with your own meaning of a song instead of being told what it means. Anyway, that's the vibe I get from it. Enjoy!! 💖
